Pistil Media was founded by Sandra Ferrari - an audio producer with 18 years experience across continents, industries, and formats.
Raised in Toronto, Sandra’s career has taken her from the CBC newsroom to Accra, Ghana - where she trained journalists for Canadian NGO Journalists for Human Rights. From there she led audio efforts and audio-specific media training at the the UN’s Food and Agriculture Organisation in Rome. Most recently, she’s been in London, where she spent seven years as Head of Production and Content Development at an ambitious podcast company.
Her work has always balanced creativity with clarity: unlocking complex stories, building global teams, and delivering award-winning podcasts for small businesses, broadcasters, brands, and organisations who want more than just another show.

I’ve had the privilege to make audio in many forms across broadcasters, brands, and NGOs.
